I was so into baby bedding while I was pregnant with my little girl. As a first time mother, I was really excited and wanted everything to be perfect and more so when we knew we were expecting a girl.
I would go oooh and aaaah over anything sweet, cute and pink. It was very difficult to stop myself from spending unnecessarily but I am glad we were then a bit tight financially (paying mortgage and renting at the same time) so that helped put a stop to my desires.
When we moved back to PA, my parents and I started going to the Renaissance Faire in Lancaster, PA. It is an amazing place. Everyone who works at the faire wears renaissance clothing and they talk as the people from that time period would talk it really transports you back to that time. They sell soup in bread bowls, gigantic turkey legs, people powered rides. The finale of the day is the joust. Now that is exciting! As a lady, of course i like to have bracelets, diamonds rings, pendants or necklace, but my man just doesn’t like splurging on these. He said he prefers to buy me the medical id which it can be engraved into either jewelry as well as watch. Well, i don’t mind to have medical watch if he was willing to buy me. Some of my friends have the medical bracelets and they just look so great with it. Actually, look trendy too.
