Moving Boxes

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Have y’all ever actually used moving boxes? Like, boxes specifically made for moving your stuff? I always use old cardboard boxes from other companies and then recycle them. It seems to make the most sense, as far as cost goes. And really, the cardboard boxes I grab are gonna get trashed/recycled anyways, so why not just use them instead of shelling out money to buy “real” moving boxes? It doesn’t seem like there’s any ‘advantange’ of using real moving boxes, in my opinion.

Used Cisco Gears

You can find a lot of used cisco gear on ebay. They are pretty cheap. I did a search on ebay for the term cisco and there was 7,394 items found. The only bad part of buying used cisco gear on ebay is you can’t update them because you don’t have a support contract with cisco. If I had more money I would buy a cisco router, couple of switches.

Acne treatments and careful eating

Friday, June 6th, 2008

My friend’s son has a severe case of acne. This ignorant woman did not send her son to see a dermatologist to find out what cause the acne. Instead, she gave him a long list of foods to avoid including eggs, chicken, nuts, certain fruits and that almost left nothing for him to eat.

I told her that while it is good to eat wisely, we must find out the root cause and avoid only foods that he is allergic too. So, before she sent him for acne treatment, she should find out what to avoid in future so that he doesn’t have to endure another severe breakout.
